Tawa is a collection of textile designs that reflect the earth’s natural beauty and the landforms we love to explore across various North American National Parks. Each design encourages the viewer to engage more with their surroundings. What do you see? How does the earth feel beneath your feet? Do you hear the river flowing? Do you taste the crisp air?

Through simple shapes, lines, vibrant colors, and repetition, I illustrate my sensorial experiences of each park.
