I curated "When Our Sun Rises," a dynamic exhibition featuring the works of over 30 acclaimed artists from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC, queer, and disabled individuals. The exhibition celebrated outdoor-themed art and was a reflection of the rich cultural diversity of the artists who contributed to it.

Over a 3-month period, I managed a multifaceted project to bring "When Our Sun Rises" to life. This involved conducting thorough research on over 30 diverse artists, fundraising through crowdfunding, building exhibition walls, collecting and staging over 100+ pieces of art, creating show graphics, seeking sponsorships, and promoting the event digitally.

The show was a true celebration of outdoor-themed art, featuring pieces in various mediums and contributions from 5 non-profits. In addition to the art, we offered guests a pop-up market, complimentary bar, food trucks, live painting, music on the lawn, and a plant workshop.

Thanks to the success of my project management efforts, over 300 guests attended the exhibition, enjoying the diverse array of art and activities on offer.
